How do I register as a startup founder?
Use the same individual member registration as other Sidedoor professionals. Startup founder customization is available in your profile after you register.
Is this for solo founders and small startup teams?
Yes. This profile option is designed for the individual behind a startup, including solo founders and teams of one to three people.
Do I need to be building with AI?
No. AI-assisted founders are welcome, and the same approach works for service businesses, independent makers and other early-stage ventures.
Do I need customers before I can get reviews?
People who have worked with you in previous roles or projects can describe that experience. Each review should make the relationship and work being discussed clear.
How is this different from a company profile?
Your founder profile brings your personal career reputation together with your startup story. A company profile gives a business its own employer reputation and workplace presence.
Can I add my logo and website before launch?
Yes. Add your startup’s name, logo and description, select Building as your stage, and add a website when you have one. The domain is optional.
Is the Founder badge a verification badge?
No. Founder or Co-founder is a role selected by the member. Verification follows Sidedoor’s separate verification policy.
